My name is Krishna Kanth Samavedam. I come from the City of Vizag, in Andhra Pradesh, India. I am an architect by profession. I pursued Bachelors in Architecture from Hyderabad and have worked with respected architectural firms on various landscape, residential and interiors projects before pursuing my Masters in Architecture from the Univ. of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Chicago, USA following which I worked on various architectural projects in USA , Singapore and currently based in Dubai, UAE.

Architecture has introduced  me to various art forms be it sketching, painting, sculpting etc., that help me transform my ideas into a sketch and then a three dimensional form during the process.

After a hiatus from painting, I started pursuing art with focus on watercolors since 2017. My paintings since then have been exhibited in various countries around the world like Brazil, India, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, United Arab Emirates and on various virtual event platforms.

Watercolors remain my favorite medium. Although, I explore other mediums such as pen and ink, pastel, acrylic etc. I currently explore various subjects be it still life, portraits, abstracts or landscapes. Besides working in studio, I enjoy plein-air  landscape painting for the challenges it presents.
